Adult Bar/Bat Mitzvah

For many reasons some Jewish adults missed out on the opportunity to become a Bar or Bat Mitzvah at thirteen. By taking classes on Sunday mornings during the school year for two years, adults learn how to read, chant and interpret the Torah. Their learning ends with an always powerful and moving Bar or Bat Mitzvah ceremony in the late spring or early summer.
